White beaches, marine habitats and a water park, with one of the Caribbean's largest casinos at the centre. Holiday first, tables second.

Inside the house

Atlantis covers much of Paradise Island, just across the water from Nassau. The pink Royal Towers, opened in 1998, are its landmark, and the other towers range from lively family wings to quieter adult-focused buildings by the marina.

Most guests come for the water: long white beaches, a large water park and open-air marine habitats you can stroll around and, in places, walk underneath.

The casino sits at the centre of the resort and is one of the largest in the Caribbean, with tables, slots and a poker room. Bahamian residents generally may not gamble in local casinos, so most players are visitors.

Spend the days on the sand and by the pools, then keep the tables for the evening, when the casino and its bars are at their liveliest.
